Ladue Horton Watkins High School senior Emily Bell has earned the highest degree of membership in the National Forensic League (NFL). Bell earned Premier Distinction in January of 2012 when she reached 1,711 points. Earning this degree places Bell in the top half of one percent of all members in the NFL. Currently, she has the most points on the Talking Rams.

This news comes as Bell continues to have an incredible senior year. Bell has a bid to Tournament of Champions – Extemporaneous Speaking. She was accepted to George Mason University’s extemporaneous speaking round robin where she placed sixth before getting fourth in the open tournament. She was invited to attend the Montgomery Bell Academy’s Southern Bell Forum Extemporaneous Speaking Round Robin where she was the Consolation Champion. She continues to be a top competitor at local tournaments and is looking for a fourth consecutive bid to the National Tournament.
