LHWHS Students Win Website Design Programming Competition

The School of Business and Technology at Webster University hosted their annual Programming Challenge on Saturday, April 21, 2012. The Web Site Design Programming Division included HTML and JavaScript programming. Students from area high schools competed on teams of two or three students for this three-hour competition designing web pages.

Congratulations to Ben Brotherton, Tom Flucke, and Jerry Linder for winning second place, and to David Abraham, Sushant Koirala, and Mukund Subramanian for winning third place. Winners were awarded trophies, medals, StudyX software, and $250 for their achievements at this highly competitive event.

LHWHS Web Site Design teacher, Mrs. Frances Erwin, stated she was impressed with the diligence and tenacity the LHWHS students demonstrated during such a rigorous competition.
