First LHWHS Dance Marathon a Huge Success

KSDK covers the first ever Ladue Dance Marathon.

On Jan. 11, 2014, approximately 200 Ladue Horton Watkins High School students participated in the first ever Dance Marathon to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  Hoping to raise $10,000, the marathon actually raised $22,951. These funds will be split evenly between St. Louis Children’s Hospital and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. The funds are used to help develop new patient programs, purchase equipment and do facilitation renovations to meet the needs of area kids.  High School seniors Emily Biest and Sophie Lustman were Co-Executive Directors of the event.
