Lori Humphrey, a second-grade teacher at Old Bonhomme Elementary School, was recently interviewed by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch about the play Unsorted. Humphrey was the district’s Teacher of the Year for the 2012-13 school year and was also the recipient of an Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award. Humphrey has applied for a Gold Star Grant to fund presentation of the play to students and personnel in the Ladue School District to kick off the school year in September. The request specifies that Unsorted be performed as well for parents and the community to promote home-school connections.
Humphrey was also interviewed on St. Louis Public Radio about her interest in and support of this production.
