Coach Keith Harder has been elected into the Missouri Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (MTCCCA) Hall of Fame. Keith has been the head Boys Track coach since 1996 and the head Girls Track coach since 2003.
Harder’s programs to date have produced 286 state medals, the second highest among active coaches, and produced champions in 34 events. His teams have either broken, or still hold, nine state records. Under Harder’s leadership, Ladue Horton Watkins High School (LHWHS) has earned 14 state (top four) trophies including three state championships, 29 conference championships, and seven district championships.
Harder has been voted MTCCCA Coach of the Year five times, and voted the Missouri State Associated Press Coach of the Year twice. He also served as the president of the MTCCCA in 2010 and has served on the board for six years. He has also served on the Missouri State High School Activities Association Advisory Committee.
LHWHS has produced over 50 track and field athletes who have run in colleges. Harder also coached Tim Rusan at Webster Groves High School, who finished fifth at the 2003 IAAF World Indoor Championships in the triple jump.
