Fifth-graders in the Ladue School District collected 500 canned goods at the first-ever “Turkey Bowl.” The event was held on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Ladue Horton Watkins High School varsity football captains refereed four flag football games, each with twenty-eight fifth-graders. The students opted to donate canned goods instead of paying a registration fee to play. The event benefited the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.
