Vinfung “Vin” Ko, Ladue Horton Watkins High School class of 2005, is focused on empowering the region’s future leaders. Vin was recently appointed to The Ladue Education Foundation Board of Directors.  Kristen Wild, executive director of the foundation, says, “Vin offers a unique perspective as a young alumnus, and the LEF is grateful for his willingness to advise, govern, and assist with the leadership.” The foundation’s mission is to advance the excellence of the Ladue School District by expanding opportunities for extraordinary student success.

In addition to that commitment, Vin recently joined the St. Louis Mosaic Project as its program manager with a goal to enrich the community’s cultural diversity.

The St. Louis Mosaic Project was launched in 2012 in response to an economic impact report, outlining St. Louis to be lagging in immigrant growth as well as highlighting the economic benefits of increasing its foreign-born population. The Mosaic Project is a regional initiative that is professionally managed by St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, World Trade Center St. Louis and a 22 member committee.  An article published on on January 20, 2015 announcing Ko’s appointment states, “As Program Manager, Ko will ensure the success of Mosaic’s targeted programs by managing and supporting the 450 Mosaic Ambassadors, regional entrepreneurs, and international student initiatives in St. Louis.”
