Emily Dove, a 2014 LHWHS graduate, was featured in Town & Style’s recent edition for her participation as a maid at the 2015 Veiled Prophet Ball and her dedication to service.

Dove’s record of giving back includes assisting the fundraising efforts of the Bay Harbor Foundation in Michigan and volunteering as a Spanish translator and an English teacher at various orphanages in Chincha Alta, after an earthquake struck the Peruvian town, according to Town & Style.

“It’s so easy for people to get caught up in their jobs and lives,” she told Town & Style. “But it’s important to help others. Not everyone has the same opportunities.”

At LHWHS, Dove was president of Due Care, an organization that provided financial assistance to students in the school district.

Congratulations, and thank you for your volunteerism, Emily. Keep up the good work!
