Rasika Sant, senior at Ladue Horton Watkins High School, has earned the highest degree of membership in the National Forensic League (NFL) by surpassing 1,500 earned points over her career.
Sant earned Premier Distinction while competing in the Eastern Missouri District Tournament when she reached 1,571 points. Earning this degree places Sant in the top half of one percent of all members in the NFL. Currently, she has the second most points on the team, is ranked 4th in the Eastern Missouri District and 39th in the state. Attaining the Degree of Premier Distinction reflects a strong dedication to the team, excellence in speech and debate and an incredible career.
This news comes as Sant qualified to the National Speech and Debate Association’s National Tournament in International Extemporaneous Speaking for the second year in a row. Sant joins her teammate, Simi Falako, as the only two current team members to achieve this level of success.
