The 2016 Day of Discovery will be hosted at Ladue Middle School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 14. The event is a free professional learning experience and is focused on three important goals: to learn, share and connect!
These learning events help teachers and administrators learn more about integrating digital content into their curriculum, provide opportunities for participants to share strategies that are working and connect attendees.
LMS seventh grade Social Studies teacher Quentin Alimayu will give a presentation on Universal Design for Learning that helps make curriculum more accessible. He will highlight 27 particular apps and will also show staff how to access a blog with more than 200 apps that can be used in the classroom!
The video below is just a taste of what Quentin will bring to the event! Parodying Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”, this video will have you dancing along and wanting to learn more!
