Recent Graduate Earns Emmy for High School Story

This past Saturday, HEC-TV, the district’s local professional television partner, won seven Emmys, including one for “History in the First Person: Being a Change Agent”, a show in which recent graduate Reis Rosenbloom contributed two stories. Reis, who graduated last May, is the district’s first student ever to win a professional Emmy while still in the high school’s Broadcast Technology program! (He even gets a statue!)

“Our goal to develop opportunities for Ladue Schools students to collaborate with professional partners while in our Broadcast Technology program has certainly impacted many, but what a memory for Reis to keep with him for the rest of his life,” Broadcast Technology, Film and Multimedia Teacher Don Goble said.

The show is linked here; Reis’ first story about Circus Harmony appears at the 20:25 mark of the program, and his second story about Camp Jump Start begins near the 24:47 mark.

Congratulations, Reis!
