Last week, the Ladue Middle School held it’s annual “I am LMS” Day, which celebrates the diversity that exists at the school. Students in all three grade levels learned about the effects of prejudice on different groups of people and the importance of working together for the good of all. The theme for the day was “eracism”, and included a dance presentation and talent show starring LMS students. All students also participated in a coding activity and created an art project on eracism, as well. The day ended with various opportunities for students to reflect on what diversity means to them. The day was sponsored by the LMS Diversity Cadre.
