Spoede Elementary’s first Senior Walk-Through was a huge success! Graduating seniors who attended Spoede came back to where it all started on Wednesday. They paraded through the halls, lined with current Spoede students waving and holding posters and old photos.
At the end of the parade, the seniors gathered at the front of the building for a class picture. Current Spoede students chosen to be student ambassadors then met the seniors escorted them to the gym for an assembly, where they met with former teachers (those still working and those who had retired and returned for the event). Each senior was given a button reading “Once a Turtle, Always a Turtle”.
Then, the seniors sang the Spoede song before leaving the building and moving on to the next adventure.
