Ladue Alum Wins Collegiate Emmy Awards

Lillian Donahue, Ladue Class of 2015, recently won in the the prestigious Student Production categories of the Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards. Lillian was nominated for five Emmy Awards, winning two in the categories of Arts and Entertainment for her story on a hoop dancing Native American family along the United States border, along with winning first place in the General News Assignment category, for her exposé on the Border Patrol destroying humanitarian aid.

Lillian Donahue poses with her awards.These Emmy Awards concluded a busy year of recognition for Lillian, as she also was a national first place winner in the Television News Competition of the 2017-2018 Hearst Journalism Awards Program, as well as a Korva Coleman Excellence Award Winner for her video “Trade drives rise of middle class in Central Mexico.”
