Max Kornfeld Earns Highest Honor from the National Speech and Debate Association

Ladue Horton Watkins High School student, Max Kornfeld (12), earned his Degree of Premier Distinction in the National Forensic League of the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA)! Students earn distinction through speech and debate competition, as well as community service, public speaking, and leadership activities. NSDA members are eligible to join the Honor Society once they have earned the required number of points.

A Degree of Premier Distinction is the highest honor a student member can attain in the NSDA. Less than 1% of members earn their Degree of Premier Distinction. Every time a student competes or performs service activities, (s)he earns points — earning the Degree of Premier Distinction requires earning 1,500 points. This honor reflects Max’s time, energy, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

Congratulations, Max!
