Ladue Horton Watkins High School rising senior Gabe DiAntonio has attained Premier Distinction honors from the National Speech & Debate Association Honor Society.
The degree is the highest a student can earn from the honor society.
The NSDA Honor Society recognizes middle and high school students for participation in speech and debate activities, along with community service, public speaking and leadership activities.
Students earn points for different activities, and must earn 1,500 points to achieve Premier Distinction.
Gabe currently has 1,629 points, ranking him 101st, or in the top 1 percent of competitors, in the country in total points earned.
He also has secured a place on the Missouri All-State Team for 2019-20.
