Jahnavi Vishnubhotla Advances to Final Round of Teen Talent Competition

Jahnavi Vishnubhotla, a rising LHWHS senior, will compete for the top prize in the 10th annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition.

The final round of competition will air Monday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. on NineNetwork/KETC.

Jahnavi plays sitar and will perform Bhatiyali Dhun, an original composition, for the event.

She is one of 16 acts competing in the final round; the winner will receive an $8,000 scholarship.

The Teen Talent Competition is open to all teens whose school is located within 50 miles of St. Louis.

Contestants can showcase their talent in vocal and instrumental music, dance, comedy, magic, circus arts or other specialty acts.

Three other LHWHS rising seniors competed in the preliminary rounds of the talent competition:

  • Leo Bochicchio, vocalist and ukulele player
  • Jameson Falconer, pop vocalist and pianist
  • Morgan Taylor, musical theater vocalist and pianist

Viewers of the Aug. 10 finals are encouraged to log in to the After-Party live stream at 9 p.m. to vote for their favorite act to win the Audience Choice Award of $1,000.
