The LHWHS Speech & Debate Team captured 1st place in Debate Sweepstakes and 2nd place in Speech Sweepstakes in the MSHSAA District Tournament on March 5.

- Kathy Bian (11), 6th place in Poetry Reading

The MSHSAA State Tournament will take place April 22-23 at Missouri State University in Springfield.
