Students at Conway Elementary showed their gratitude for local healthcare workers with dozens of handwritten thank-you cards.
Around 150 students wrote and decorated cards that were shared with medical staff at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
Teacher Lindsay Lombardo led the effort as a way to recognize National Random Acts of Kindness Week in February.
“Our students were so excited when they found out their letters and cards would be delivered to our local healthcare workers,” Lombardo said.
“They wanted to show our healthcare workers how much they are truly appreciated. All around, we had lots of smiles from this project.”
Lombardo delivered the cards to Missouri Baptist on March 2.
