Ladue Middle School was represented by two teams at the VEX World Robotics Championship in Dallas.
Natalie Brunworth (8), Ben Reiser (8), Brandon Barrett (8), and Gene Gorman (6) – members of team Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen – upset the top-ranked team and advanced to the semifinals.
Dheeran Ramesh (6), Saadhana Thota (8), Kelly Bian (8), and Madeline Awad (8) – members of team 1% Milk – won the Build Award at the event.
The Build Award is a judged award that is earned through interviews and building the most durable robot.
