LHWHS Students Earn High Marks on National Foreign Language Examinations

Several Ladue Horton Watkins High School students earned national recognition for their performance on various national foreign language exams.

These exams include Le Grand Concours French exam, the National German Exam, the National Latin Exam, and the National Spanish Exam.

LHWHS students collectively earned a total of 16 gold, 24 silver, and 33 bronze medals along with 161 honorable mentions on the exams.

The National Languages Examinations are administered each year in grades 6 through 12 and are sponsored by each language’s respective associations: The American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), The American Association of Teachers of German (AATG), American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League, and the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).
